Before we deliver your container:
We do a visual inspection of all the interior including the roof to make sure everything is working properly.
Space required for the delivery of your container:
Size: 10ft-20ft container can be delivered on a straight truck The straight truck will need approximately 50′ of straight clearance in front of the storage unit plus the length of the container. The height clearance needed is about 14′
Size: 40ft container can be delivered on a straight truck or a tractor trailer unit. We will need approximately 70′ of straight clearance in front of the storage unit plus the length of the container. The height clearance needed is about 14′.
If you are unsure about whether you have enough space to accommodate our delivery equipment, we will gladly preview the site and determine how we can place the unit.
No special site preparation is required the surface should be fairly level, smooth, and firm. The unit can be delivered on dirt as long as it is not too soft, or on cement, pavement, gravel or grass. Some sites can be limited to getting access during certain times of the year, like the spring when it is wet & during the winter season because of the snow.
When you place your order, we will ask you whether we should deliver the container with the doors to cab (drop off last) or doors to the rear (doors off first). This decision will depend upon where you want the unit located on the site, door to the cab is the most common because you are able to back into a spot & set the container into your property.
Mobile Workshop
Although it might seem odd to be offering a mobile service for containers that are mainly used for static storage, we know you don’t want to bring your container to us!!
Help is on the way! Whether you would like a new roll-up installed, or just some repairs, maintenance and painting, or even structural work.
Our mobile workshop is fitted with, a heavy duty welder and cutting equipment. We can carry out most jobs other than major structural work from one of our vans, just call and ask.
